Ready to be colored with crayons or markers, in an imaginative way or following specific topics of theory of color (warm and cool colors, gradations, gray scales, complementary colors). The lesson of history about the Middle Ages and its artists, can be developed with color theory or the theory of the shadows. The drawings are freely chosen from the ancient representations of the most famous medieval towns and the lines are drawn by hand, deliberately irregular and non-geometric, to give an antique feel to the architecture.
To decorate the city you can use colored pencils and felt-tip pens, if you are printing the pdf on white cardboard you can also use watercolors. The first two examples below are colored freely, the other three drawings have been colored using warm or cool colors and one last design was colored to the computer with complementary colors. In fact you can use the files even with programs to edit images like Gimp or Photoshop.
