We started with making name tags and introducing ourselves...
Then we shared lessons from our classrooms.
Alysa shared color wheel eyes, 2 point perspective contrasting worlds,
and Pop Art Accordian Art.
Pop Art Accordion Art
Use one pop art image and the sound (onomatopoeia) that it makes.
Cut into strips and glue onto background paper alternating,
then accordion fold.
Perla shared beautiful Zentangle ideas in a journal.
Heather Crain shared Torn paper pictures, Junk Journals, Grateful Garlands,
and ideas for using plastina clay for mini lessons.
Candy is sharing lessons with torn paper landscapes.
She also shared a Monet lesson.
We took a much needed lunch break at downtown's
La Waffalata and East Texas Burger. It was delicious.
We visited Ms. Crain's classroom at the Mineola Middle School
to rummage though donated supplies.
Candy's Lesson for Monet Waterlilies using balloons.,
First, teachers are making the water surface backgrounds with pastels.
Then, we stamp the paper with green paint on balloons.

We ran out of time and still had so many things we wanted to do!
