Student Examples- second graders

Here's how you begin...

  1. With a pencil, lightly Draw a line from each opposing corner and each opposing edge.

It should make 2 Xs.

  1. Lightly with a pencil, Beginning in the middle of Xs, draw concentric circles going outward to edges.

  1. Outline X lines with black marker.

  2. Make a marker dot where each X line intersects a circle.

  3. Draw a swooping curved line from dot to dot traveling around each circle. Continue outward.

  1. Draw a spider dangling from a string.

  1. Begin drawing patterns, designs, shapes & lines in some of the web openings....
