本周是我们为期十周的课后美术班的最后一节课，我想安排一项真正有趣的活动！我在博客上发布的首篇博文是[戴尔·奇胡利（Dale Chihuly）悬挂式雕塑（关于奇胡利的更多介绍）](http://createartwithme.com/chihuly-sculpture/）。那个项目至少需要两节课完成，而我们这次需要一个单日美术项目，因此这个方案再合适不过。
我超爱缩尺片（Shrinky Dink）项目——在Pinterest上稍作搜索后，我发现了这个极富趣味性的项目，将戴尔·奇胡利（Dale Chihuly）与缩尺片巧妙结合。我观看了YouTube频道“The Amazing Art Show”发布的教学视频，并在此基础上设计了一个简化版的小型项目（请务必向原作者致谢！）。

我们的实施步骤如下：
所需材料： 缩尺片（Shrinky Dinks）透明创意套装（10张装）, 百乐（Bic）马克笔（永久性记号笔，12色）, 达瑞斯（Darice）多功能压花热风枪, 剪刀
制作步骤：
- 描绘一个略大于CD的圆形。我们使用了一个直径约6英寸的塑料盖子作为模板。
- 使用永久性彩色记号笔绘制图案与设计（不宜过于复杂）。
- 沿轮廓剪下圆形。
- 需由成人操作热风枪，对缩尺片进行选择性加热与塑形。我先将片材置于塑料杯口上方开始加热，随后移至桌面上继续塑形。
- 待其完全冷却后再触碰！
缩尺片戴尔·奇胡利迷你雕塑——完美的单日项目！此件作品出自一名一年级学生之手。孩子们特别喜欢观看热风枪使自己的雕塑弯曲、收缩的过程！

Dale Chihuly Shrinky Dink Mini-Sculptures
This week was the last class in our 10-week After School Art Class and I wanted to do somethin
g really fun! My very first post on my blog was a Dale Chihuly Mobile (More info on Chihuly). That project takes at least 2 classes and we needed a one day art project so this one was perfect.
I LOVE Shrinky Dink projects and after some looking on Pinterest I found this super fun project incorporating Dale Chihuly & Shrinky Dinks. I watched the video by “The Amazing Art Show” on YouTube and created a smaller project based on her idea (please give her credit!).

Here is how we did our project:
Supplies: Shrinky Dinks Crystal Clear 10 Sheet Creative Pack, Bic Mark-It Permanent Markers, 12 Markers, Darice Embossing Multi-Purpose Heat Tool, scissors
Instructions:
- Trace a circle slightly larger than a CD. We used a plastic lid, about 6″ diameter.
- Use PERMANENT colored markers to color in patterns and designs (not too complex).
3. Cut out the circle.
4. An ADULT needs to use the heat gun to SELECTIVELY heat & warp the Shrinky Dink sheet. I put mine on top of a plastic cup to begin with, then moved it onto the table.
5. Let it cool off before touching!
Shrinky Dink Dale Chihuly mini-sculptures-Perfect one day project! This one is by a 1st grader. The kids LOVED watching the heat gun warp & shrink their sculptures!
