我从二年级起就爱上了漫画艺术，这是我的首批热情之一。记得二年级时，我家附近住着一位同样热爱绘画的朋友。我常骑自行车去他家，我们一起构思漫画故事，总盼着有朝一日能登上报纸。虽然当时尝试得并不深入，但这个梦想一直延续至今。我把这段经历和梦想讲给了学校里的孩子们听。这时，一名学生突然问道：“您真的试过投稿吗？”我一时愣住，呆呆地站在那里，傻傻地答道：“没有……也许我真该试试。”
于是，在我自己的漫画正式出版之前，我努力鼓励学生们怀抱与我当年同样的梦想。
如今，我已带着孩子们创作漫画达八年之久，是时候启动一些梦想了。我决定联系本地报纸，直接询问他们是否愿意刊登学生创作的漫画。我提出了请求，竟获批准！耶！！！如果你从不尝试、从不开口询问，就永远无法知晓结果。
以下是我创作完成的众多漫画中的两幅。我特意挑选这两幅，是因为它们都讲述了《丢失的袜子》的故事……
以下是今年或往年我所教学生创作的漫画作品。

I have been in love with the art of comics since 2nd grade. It was one of my very first passions. I remember in 2nd grade, I had a friend that was also an artist that lived in my neighborhood. I would ride my bike over to his house and we would work together on ideas we had for a comic. We always hoped to one day make it into the newspaper. We never got too far with trying though, but the dreams remained alive till this very day. I told this story and dream of mine to my kids at school. Then one student just asked... "Did you ever try to get it in?".... I just kinda stood there blank faced and foolish... and said, "No, maybe I should."
So, until I get a comic of my own officially published, I try to encourage my students at school to hope the same as I did.
So, after doing comics with kids for 8 years now, I think it is about time I launch some dreams. So, I decided to contact our local newspaper and just ask. I wanted to see if they would be interested in posting one of the kid's comics in the news. I asked, and my request was granted! Yeahhh! If you never try and ask, you will never know.
Here are two of my many finished comics I created. I posted these two specifically because they are about the story of the Lost Sock...
