HOW TO DO IT

Draw round shape.

Outline with pencil.

Divide shape into thirds using contour line with pencil lightly.

Draw shapes on left to represent a highlight/light source.

Make sure these round shapes bend/contour with the water drop.

Use a darker color to shade 1/3 of the left side.

Do not shade inside the highlight.

Use lighter value as you work your way to the center.

Add a cast shadow to the right side of the drop making sure to make it

crescent moon shape.  Cast shadow should be darker as it is closer to the drop.

Use a white colored pencil to highlight the right side (1/3) of the drop.
