Pinch Pot Creatures are a FUN way to teach additive clay techniques to the basic pinch pot method.
My upper elementary classes LOVE this project and it really helps them develop creativity using a 3D medium. Students had the choice of making a recognizable animal or a fantasy creature. I am kicking myself, because I forgot to take pictures of everyone’s art before I sent them home-there were some really cute ones I didn’t get pictures of too -elephants, birds, cats… 🙁
