Who is Commander Mark to me?
Mark and Me
@ one of his drawing workshops in Houston (2010)
When I was a little girl, we did not have ART in school.
I decided in 2nd grade to become an Artist.
Since I had no real life teacher,
I decided to dedicate my free time to learning art.
I discovered a TV show called,
Commander Mark and the Secret City.
It was lead by the host, Commander Mark Kistler.
He wore a futuristic coveralls with art supplied all down his sleeve
like bullets for creative war.
He had a robot man and a dragon puppet that would make special appearances.
He had a giant orange paper wall that he would add to every week called the
Secret City of Imagination Station.
