Foot color wheel

Foot & Hand Color Wheel Crayon Resist is a FUN and unique way to paint a color wheel. I have done this with upper elementary and middle school art students-they all love it!

IO: Students will identify primary, secondary & intermediate colors.  Students will review how to mix colors on the color wheel.

Delivery:

Color wheel: organized into 3 main groups:

  • Primary colors (red, yellow, blue)
  • Secondary colors (green, orange, purple: made by mixing 2 primary colors together),
  • Intermediate colors (yellow-orange, red-orange, red-violet, blue-violet, blue-green, yellow-green: made by mixing one primary color together with one secondary color).
