Twigs in complementary colors

With students of Grade 7, we are continuing our work on complementary colors. These sprigs have been drawn with wax crayons directly on the white paper and then they have been painted with watercolor paints using various shades of complementary colors. The properties of the wax crayon which is water resistant, helped students to paint inside the shapes. In that way the liquid watercolors don’t mingle among them.
