克雷奥拉艺术二号水彩

大孩子优选画笔

1st grade has been working on their Eric Carle Mr. Seahorses for a couple of classes now, and they're doing a great job! Thank you to Art with Mrs. Gianneto for this great idea! Check out the details and videos below to see how we created these lovelies!

Materials:

Oil Pastels

90lb drawing paper

Tru Ray construction paper

Crayola Artista II watercolors

Big Kid's Choice paintbrushes

Day 1: We read the book Mr. Seahorse , by Eric Carle, and then we set to work drawing our own!

How to draw an Eric Carle inspired Seahorse

Then, you trace your seahorse with oil pastels

After you trace, then use the Crayola watercolors to paint your seahorse!

Day 2: Work on your background and cut out your seahorse!
